Yahtzee

Dice at every table, one scoreboard.

The plan for Yahtzee

Dice rounds played at the table with automatic scoring, and a house leaderboard that runs across the whole room.

The scorecard is the whole problem with dice games in a bar. Someone adds a column wrong, the table stops to argue, and the dice sit still. Scoring in the app keeps them rolling.

Players
2–8 per table
Typical length
20–40 minutes per round

Status today

Yahtzee is in development and no one can play it yet. This page describes what we are building it to do. We would rather show you the plan than promise a date we have not earned.

Planned for the first release

Going into the first release.

  • Scorecards that add up on their own, which ends the arithmetic arguments
  • Physical dice or on-screen rolls, whichever the venue prefers
  • Room-wide leaderboard across every table playing at once
  • Turn timers for tournament nights
  • Printable scorecards as a fallback when the Wi-Fi has a bad night

Meanwhile

Trivio is the one you can run first.

Our trivia platform is the furthest along and is opening to a small group of venues now. It uses the same host console, the same join flow, and the same branding Yahtzee will use when it arrives, so a venue that starts with trivia is set up for the rest.
